Overview
Why do we call it the Eclipse? Perhaps because it completely overshadows the competition when it comes to accuracy, fit & finish, and overall performance. The X-Bolt is the uncontested champion among factory production rifles and the Eclipse is at the top of the list with its rock-solid, glass bedded, laminate thumbhole stock and comfortable Monte Carlo cheekpiece. The contrast between the blued action and stainless barrel mirror the black and white contrast in the wood laminate stock, completing an elegant look that matches the superb function of the rifle.
The Target version of the Eclipse features a 26" long fluted heavy bull barrel. Any remaining recoil untamed by the heavy barrel will be fully mitigated by the extremely effective muzzle brake. The forearm is designed with a large flat surface area to accommodate a rest or sandbags, with a fixed sling swivel for use with a bipod. The stock also has two QD swivel cups to accommodate a sling with detachable sling swivels.
NOTE: Unless specifically listed as included with a firearm, accessories shown such as scopes, optical sights, rings, ring mounts, optic rails, bipod rails, ammunition, etc. are NOT included. Accessories are available at authorized Browning dealers and here on Browning.com.
