Springfield worked with AG Composites to develop the rifle’s premium carbon fiber stock. Each stock is hand-layed, made from 100% carbon fiber and pillar bedded for perfect marriage to the action. When weight matters, carbon fiber strikes the perfect balance between rock solid strength and mobility. The Waypoint’s trigger from TriggerTech features a low-profile, non-snag safety and employs the company’s Frictionless Release Technology for a crisp, clean and repeatable pull. The 20" fluted 416 stainless steel barrel with its 1:10 twist offers a compact package without suffering accuracy or distance and is topped off with a removable SA Radial Muzzle Brake.
