The HK45 was developed as part of a program for the US Military’s Joint Combat Pistol Program in 2005/2006 and features a slew of user inspired enhancements. The biggest change from the USP series is the interchangeable grip panels, back straps and the Mil-STD Picatinny accessory rail. The HK 45 is well suited for personal defense use and it can be easily converted to different trigger firing modes.
